In the financial world, dates are important.

A series of dates need be created using EXCEL.

For example, a Series of dates

There are lots of the ways to do the job in the Excel.

Method 3: Using DATE( ), Year( ), Month( ) function.

In Cell A1, we type in 1/1/2012.

In Cell A2, Formula =DATE(YEAR(A1),MONTH(A1)+1,1). We select cell A2, drag down to auto fill to cell A24.
